Policies

Prices of merchandise are subject to change without notice. Raw materials, particularly gold and silver vary in price constantly. Import duties and foreign currency fluctuate, too.

The online store is always open, but the telephone service is Monday - Saturday, 8am to 5pm, Central Standard Time. The office is not open on Sundays. Orders may be placed using our secured online store through the shopping cart, fax or email, 24 hours a day.

ORDERING

You may fax, mail, e-mail or phone orders to us. For online orders, we will confirm orders when received and when shipped, by e-mail. It is important that we have your correct e-mail address. NO MINIMUM BALANCE NECESSARY. Click here to set up an account with us.

SALES TAXES

We do not collect sales tax on any orders generated by the Internet, which are shipped to the buyer. If the law or our understanding of the law changes, we will begin collecting sales taxes on shipments to Louisiana Customers who do not have a Louisiana Sales Tax Certificate.

BACK ORDERS

We do not back order. You may substitute stock items if necessary or if you choose. We constantly update our web site stock and it is accurate within +/- 5%. Out of stock items unless discontinued, are restocked within a month. Please reorder the out of stock items.

SHIPPING

In most cases, orders are filled and shipped by the next business day after receipt. We e-mail you with any questions about your order. Your prompt response insures your order being filled quickly. We ship surface, insured and prefer UPS or FedEx. You may provide a carrier and account number. International shipping will be computed and billed when the order is ready, as will orders over $500.00. We use US Mail Global Express, Global AirMail, and UPS Expedited for shipping International orders. We will also use FedEx, if applicable to your region.

CREDIT CARDS

We accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover and American Express Cards. This is subject to change. There will be a surcharge of $4.00 on all international credit card orders and shipping will be computed when the order is ready and added to the invoice. You will receive an e-mail notification.

CHECKS

You may pay by Cashiers Check or money order made payable to The Bead Nook. Personal checks will be cleared before shipping. Returned checks will be assessed recovery fees and are subject to electronic deposit for face value plus fees without notice.

RETURNS

We try to purchase, quality products, much of which is hand made and imported from the far reaches of the world. Items may slightly vary in color, size, finish, and weight. This is considered acceptable and still first quality. Weights and counts are estimates. We are happy to accept returns on damaged items or errors in shipping. We require a copy of the original invoice and the goods returned as originally packaged, with your return authorization. Call for authorization to return merchandise, within five days of receipt. We give store credit and returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee.

COD’s

We do not accept COD orders.
